Christmas Party Time

Have definitely not had enough sleep, but have definitely had a very good night at our office Christmas Party -  thanks as ever to my wonderful boss Monica.

This year we went to Epsom Downs Racecourse Glitz and Glam party -   dinner and dancing.

I broke with tradition and only took my phone for photos (boy, did THAT feel odd!)  so here are some from the party.

We met for champagne and nibbles at Monica's first
me in my posh dress (thanks Lisa for taking it)

early action on the nibbles..

l to r Monica, Lesley, Shaun, James, Neil (newest recruit) and just out of shot Kirsty

the entrance lobby was lined with sparkly Christmas trees...
we had two tables, which we made them move closer together
the trouble with phone photos is they are a bit dark, click to enlarge, they do look a bit better...

(come back to read my witty comments of course!)

Lesley, Jeff, Kirsty, Neil, Monica and and Lucy (founder of Cheam Life who organised the Cheam Christmas from last week)

we really wanted to sneak out with one of the table decorations....

we cracked open the little boxes of streamers and poppers and balloons..
just a glass or two...some of them were water, and they are not all mine, honest.
 blow James, blow!

no pic of the gorgeous salmon/prosecco starter (yummy)  but turkey dinner... fab!

deep in conversation....

 tucking in...

dessert was gorgeous... can't remember, but rich and creamy!

 comparing photos...

to Lisa's left is her  brother Adam, filling the spot of our adviser Leslie, who sadly damaged her back last weekend and couldn't make it.

cracker hats really don't do a lot for a girl's look!

me and Lisa

Jeff starting to rock some moves in the background there...
he is the  life and soul of every party he goes to....  Jeff, you are a star

don't think I have any of you with the chair...

Lesley going for it!

Lisa and Kirsty,  Adam in the background sneaking off to the dance floor..

this seems to be all I took.... but it was a great night and a great singalong and  dance, I loved my dress and really missed my camera!

getting ready to go to Kew now!

It does look like a great night Helen! You all looked fab and your dress was perfect. I'm not surprised you wanted to pinch that gorgeous table decoration, the whole place looked wonderful and definitely glitzy. Looking at the pics of the food is a bit tortuous for me at the moment though, lol, because it looks soooo good and I am so craving a roast dinner.

Hugs

Great night! Good for you for recognising a non-camera occasion....you would have looked like the hired photographer not a guest! You looked fab Miss H, that dress is gorgeous.

Gorgeous photos and no wonder you felt special in that long dress. What a wonderful way to spend your Christmas office party - friendship, food and fun!
