Cheam Village Christmas Fair

This evening has been the Cheam Village Christmas fair, and light switch on by local celebrity Tim Vine.

My company was sponsoring this year, and I have some photos to share for you.

The event was organised by a friend and client of the firm, in association with Cheam Life, a local social network site.   You can read more about Cheam Village Christmas here

We got in the action yesterday by decorating the office as it would be host to Glamavan, a company who specialise in glitter pamper parties - it proved popular!

and tonight, with the lights dimmed... Got to love a Christmas tree!

We brewed up some mulled wine and had crisps and sweets on offer for the children who were coming to be glittered...

it was work, honestly!

I went for a wonder round the fair - it was over a smaller area than previous years, but lots of local companies had stalls and seemed to be doing a roaring trade..

Lisa handing out our office leaflet directing people to the Glamavan...
Santa's sleigh...

back to the office (it was freezing out, so a glass of mulled wine was called for!)

the Glamavan girls were being kept busy

and not only by teenage girls either.

this is Phil one of our advisers
and this is James, the youngest member of our team ....

and Lesley

back out for the official light switch on..

the local hospital radio station always run the music and there were local singing/dancing groups entertaining the crowds

The stage, ready for Tim..
Finally Tim Vine took to the stage for the official switch on...
I couldn't get a good view of the stage sadly
and the lights are on... Cheam is officially ready for Christmas...

shame about the rest of us!

sadly I had failed to make sure my camera battery was fully charged, but I had my phone in my pocket to mix and match....
not quite as impressive as Kew last week, but not bad!

Monica posing for a picture with Tim Vine

back to the office for a warm up ....

some young, very young, clients had popped in to support the evening.  Monica couldn't resist a cuddle!

and Glamavan still had a steady stream of clients.

Finally, Monica with Coco, Kirsty's gorgeous puppy, showing off her nice warm coat.
Coco is our unofficial office dog and features often on our Facebook page.

Camera is now fully charged ready for tomorrow's normal destination!

off to share on social media now!

What a wonderful event to sponsor. Monica is so generous and caring. You must LOVE working there. The tree is lovely and so are the poinsettias. I LOVE the picture of you in the flyer. That is a great picture. Monica looks good with Coco, too!

It looks as if a lovely time was had by all but there was one disappointment for me! Helen, did you not have your face painted? I was so looking forward to seeing you having yours done too. I had mine doe when I went to see the Bees in Manchester so next time ... maybe ...
Hugs, Neet xx
