I am having a nightmare transferring photos to my computer recently but made it!
A beautiful sunny morning at Kew follows - enjoy!
the sky was gloriously blueand the fountain was on
the tubs have been re-planted too
the alliums by the Palm house are already finished but will go to seed and be gorgeous for ages
I walked round by the pond
southern marsh orchid
walking round towards the evolution garden
peonies in the sun
the "gardener" statue has been given flower to go with his thistle
the scent on the roses in the EG beds was lovely
the pergola looking fabulous
at the end of the EG the wild flower bed is coming into flower - stunning
as I went through into the rock garden I found a new information board - photo'd it mainly for Elizabeth as she loves the rock garden
even before they open in full sun the californian poppies look great
on the Broad Walk now
this is a salvia I think
the alliums at the further end are still in great condition- they're a later variety

sum big tubs outside the back of the Waterlily house,
I think these plants have been moved from the Temperate House or even the Palm House
blogger is being a pain, sorry. don't have time to faff about
then the Meditteranean garden
and another look at the Breach - love those mirrors
from a distance, heading for the lake
Indian sweet chestnut, smothered in flowers
such pretty flowers
King William's temple
loved the shadows.
sun through the huge acer that goes such gorgeous colours in autumn, outside the gallery
crossing the grass with Matt and Helen in the distance, towards the gallery
Kym was waiting for the gallery to open at 10 too

we wanted to see "where flowers dream" by Pip and Pop (Tanya Schultz) part of the Food Forever event
we had to put shoe protectors on...
and went in to the exhibition..."chandeliers" in sugar sweet pastels
through the doorway....
the walls of the gallery have been covered
in pastel flowery images
not sure if you can read
then into the main gallery
this is the link to the Kew website that gives bit more info (running late, can't write it out)
looked like a pastel pink version of Willy Wonka's factory

bird of paradise - most starting to fade now
