The first pic of the daffodils reminded me of our drive to the zoo yesterday. I've never seen so many daffodils in the grass verges locally and after such a dreary winter they were so cheery to see. Also, my phone would not have done justice to the fabulous close ups from your new lens. They are amazing and reveal so much soft, velvety texture in the petals. The first close up of the white prunus with the really delicate stamens in the centre is beautiful.

The lilac and white blossom in the pic before the fluffy pink brush, is that wisteria? It is so lovely and another favourite pic from this visit is the one of the delicate lilac flowers with the curled back petals....they are just so pretty! Thank you for the camelia too!

My absolute favourites have to be the icecream tulips! Their soft pastel shades and elegant simplicity are just so lovely to see in the sunshine with the vibrancy and complexity of the petals of the yellow and orange ones such a contrast. The yellow and orange fritillary are quite stunning too.

A couple more vying for favourite are your own favourite Spring tree which is indeed a beauty and I love the contrast of the twisty gnarly trunk and branches to the delicate blossom and it's also so good to see the water sparkly and the swan virtually glowing in the sunshine. That is a stunner!

What a wonderful visit this one has been. It really made me feel happy that Spring is finally here!

Hugs
Lesley Xxcraftimammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00997146794724712348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787959323099795920.post-37555852256561060062018-04-15T07:57:59.431+01:002018-04-15T07:57:59.431+01:00Glorious Helen! Simply amazing difference and incredible beauty and color.

Loved seeing the urns filled with your favorite color, purple/lavender.

I'm confused. I guess I didn't think ducks could fly like that, but that one in the tree stump was an amazing find and photo.

Is that lift in the Treetop walkway ever open two days in a row, or does it only work on days when most people aren't there??? Nice overall view of the walkway, though.

May 4 isn't that far off, and the Temperate House, at least the exterior, doesn't look nearly ready. No wonder they are working weekends, too. Am I seeing plants inside the photo with what looks like open windows?

I look forward to seeing the reopening of the Pagoda, too.

How in the world were you able to condense 325 photos into less than 100? They were certainly all beautiful. I really enjoyed spring at Kew today. Seems like LOTS of people did, too.

Bleubeard and Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149710375520733752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787959323099795920.post-78252146352600447362018-04-15T00:49:46.104+01:002018-04-15T00:49:46.104+01:00Fabulous!!!
